Job Description

• Ensuring effective production execution including printing and chasing job cards, reconciling, and processing material usage and bulk job receipts
• Evaluating the accuracy of work in progress scheduled for completeness and accuracy before manufacturing or packing
• Identifying and communicating variances and ensuring variances are accurately accounted for across all sites and reporting any issues to Management Accountant
• Assisting Cost Accountant in co-ordinating Company stock counts including distribution of stock sheets, processing write-offs, capturing stock-count data and printing, and distributing variance reports
• Ensuring ISO compliance by following ISO processes
• Assisting in Performing ISO Stock Control Audits, reporting findings
• Maintaining data integrity by accurately analysing relevant data on Syspro and highlighting Physical BOM concerns

Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum Grade 12
• A tertiary qualification in the cost accounting or a related field, would be advantageous
• 3-5 years working knowledge of a production administrative environment
• 3-5 years working knowledge of basic cost accounting would be advantageous
