Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring all repairs and services are performed to the highest standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a wide variety of vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Manage and lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support where needed.
• Monitor stock levels, tools, and equipment, ensuring the workshop is fully functional and efficient.
• Maintain records of all repairs, services, and inspections for reporting and customer communication.
• Liaise with customers, providing professional service updates and recommendations.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Requirements

• N6 relevant qualification
• At least 10 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician within the automotive industry.
• Proven experience in managing and leading a workshop team.
• Strong diagnostic skills across a range of vehicles (petrol, diesel, and hybrid systems).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Proficient in using the latest diagnostic tools and technologies.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
