Job Description

The purpose of this position is to promote and sell our Client’s products and services.  Looking for a person with a strong business acumen, verbal and written capabilities, who is pro-active and good at building and maintaining customer relations.


Minimum requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma or equivalent with sales and or marketing
  • At least 3 years or more sales experience
  • Must have Technical experience

Main Duties:

  • Business Development
    • Consultative, diagnostic customer engagement to sell multiple products and services
      Conduct customer research
      Develop pro-active client solutions/ initiatives and present proposals to clients, presenting various PMI Group solutions
      Customer relationship management
      Create and maintain client profiles
      Negotiate client fee’s and rates in consultation with the Business Development Manager
      Follow up on client leads
      Establish, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across designated portfolios
      Cold calling for new business
      Achieve and exceed monthly targets and close deals
      Development and management of a sales database
      Develop business with current clients
      Develop new business for the company
      Create opportunities for new business by networking
      Manage and follow up on tenders, enquiries, bid preparation, pricing and contractual negotiations.


  • Customer Service
    • Ensure effective handover of all client information and documentation to the Business Development Manager
      Oversee all sales administration efforts related to enquiries, quotations, and sales
      Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements with business operations
      Meet potential key clients at their locations to accurately qualify the prospect and establish needs
      Ensure that all company client-vetting procedures have been adhered to before contract set-up.
      Collaboration with operations to ensure all requirements per the client’s request are addressed and met


  • Administration
    • Complete all relevant client documentation as required by the business
      Communicate to the Business Development Manager all required assessments for new clients and conduct assessments, if required.
      Liaise with the Business Development Manager to ensure business compliance from a Sales and Marketing perspective.
      Responsible for all telephonic and walk-in sales queries
      Prepare and present sales reports including sales turnover, sales pipeline, and areas of proposed client based to the Business Development Manager on a monthly basis.
